"This pizza deserves a blog post!"

I like making my own pizza when I have a craving for it. It's so simple and quick, and oh my god it tastes so good! I had to improvise today because we didn't have any canned tomatos and the sauce is so amazing! I decided to share my pizza recipe with the few people that actually read my blog haha. x

Preheat your oven to 220°

Base
3 dl water, body temp
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of dry yeast / 45g active yeast
3 tablespoons of oil
~9 dl flour (I just add flour until the dough is firm and stops sticking)

Mix water, salt, yeast and oil in a bowl and start adding flour in small portions until the dough stops sticking. Let it rest while you prepare the rest of the pizza.

Topping
500 g mince
garlic
salt
black pepper
paprika
chilli powder
basil, dried or fresh

3 tomatoes
tomato pure and ketchup
~1 tablespoon of sugar (yes, sugar)

cheese

(feel free to add any optional toppings you like to have in a pizza, my personal favourite is pineapple)

Fry the mince and add garlic and the spices (add as much as or little as you want). Chop the tomatoes and add them in the pan. Add roughly four tablespoons of tomato pure and about 1 dl of ketchup, I didn't measure anything but went by the texture. Add a bit of water if needed to turn it all into a sauce and add sugar. It removes the bitterness of the pure and makes the sauce absolutely amazing.

I use baking parchment to cover the oven pans to make cleaning a bit more effortless, but whatever you decide to do simply "build" the pizza like usual on an oven pan. Put the pizza in the oven for 20 minutes. Enjoy. <3
